Lausanne Time Machine: Die Zukunft aus der Vergangenheit bauen
Have you ever strolled around your local city thinking about all the stories those historical walls accumulated over time? Have you been wondering about lives being lived decades and centuries before you were born? Does it strike you to know how the people, communities, locales and families living in your city shaped history and how they have been shaped by it?
The Lausanne Time Machine is part of a European project aiming to create multidimensional models of different cities across Europe. Digitizing documents and records stored in archives over 100 of years, these projects enable to map the cultural, economical, social and geographical evolution of European cities across time. The Time Machine projects are providing an open access tool allowing us to browse through history.
