Are we really critical thinkers?

We might think highly of ourselves and describe our thinking as critical thinking all the time… but do we really do it? While scrolling through our apps, selecting quiz answers, and choosing a position during an argument we infer a lot. Inference is the way we connect our previous knowledge and guess about the future. In such an uncertain world like ours, apparently concluding the most probable outcome (the definition of inference) might be something we need to train. Enjoy my talk about inference awareness and how we can use it to achieve a sustainable world!
