Dafür müssen wir Kohlekraftwerke, Ölbohrplattform und Pipelines abschalten, während wir gleichzeitig in kürzester Zeit das saubere Energiesystem aufbauen müssen. Wie können wir die Materialien der fossilen Infrastruktur verwenden, um damit Windräder zu bauen, unsere Häuser im Winter warm und im Sommer kühl zu halten?

Bone is a tissue that is in constant remodeling. When we break a bone, different cells act together to form new, healthy bone. In some cases, after a fracture, it is necessary to place an implant to help the bone heal. Lately, resorbable implants have become very popular as they degrade in the body and avoid the need for a second surgery to remove them. However, these implants can affect the internal structure of the bone. To study the effect implants have on the bone we use new imaging X-ray techniques that allow us to see in 3D how bone heals in presence of the implant.
